EFEX Project
Project Description -
The EFEX Project (Encouraging the Filmmaking Experience) is a new course and community film project created by Beyond Blue Productions and University of Michigan students and staff. The project focuses on combining filmmaking with service learning. This educational experience is achieved through in-class workshops and assignments, as well as the creation of a feature film in the months following the course. EFEX serves as a new model for interaction between the University and creative communities of southeast Michigan.
We are currently seeking financial and in-kind support for the completion of our first project, Bilal's Stand, and to ensure the sustainability of this unique filmmaking experience. All donations which run through the University of Michigan are tax-deductible. Investment opportunities are also available for Beyond Blue Productions.
